It’s time to turn clocks back



Daylight-saving time ends this weekend at 2 a.m. Sun., Nov. 1. Clocks should be turned back to 1 a.m. as the country returns to standard time. The time change is easier in the autumn because clocks “fall back” an hour. Daylight-saving time will return next spring on Sun., March 14, when clocks will “spring forward.”

Ventura County residents can hear Supervisor Peter Foy, 4th District, speak in defense of individual property rights at a meeting hosted by the Citizens Alliance for Property Rights from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 5 at the Goebel Senior Center, 1385 E.
