Students reflect on what beauty is

Tierra Linda School recently celebrated its 16th annual Reflections Art Program with more than 200 official student entries submitted.

The program consisted of six categories: photography, literature, music composition, visual arts, film production and dance choreography.

All pieces related to the program theme “Beauty Is . . .”

The Reflections art show and ice cream social took place in November. Families and friends attended to view the art pieces and eat ice cream sundaes. A slide presentation was shown of students working on their art. 

From all the entries, 24 Tierra Linda students were chosen to have their art pieces move on to the next level of competition, the district level, where they competed against all the Pleasant Valley district schools. The district art show took take place on Dec. 1 in Tierra Linda’s multipurpose room.

The Reflections theme for 2010-11 is “Together We Can . . .”
