Ventura County Animal Services takes in about 3,000 kittens a year. All cats and kittens leave the shelter having been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. The shelter is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. For more information or to sign up to adopt a specific kitten, go to vcas.us/adopt.
