Large-scale drug bust in Camarillo leads to 7 arrests

An investigation into a major drug trafficking operation led to seven arrests and the seizure of large amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine in Camarillo, authorities said.

Investigators said the suspects were involved in a plan to deliver the drugs and arrived in Camarillo in three cars.

But the plot was foiled by members of the Ventura County Combined Agency Team, which includes detectives from the sheriff’s office and special agents with the United States Drug Enforcement Agency.
