Keep it mellow before concert

Thank you, Pleasant Valley Rec and Park, for having the Camarillo summer concerts. That’s a good thing in our community (among many others).

One suggestion (now or in the future): Don’t have any opening acts before the main performance (bands, DJs, talking heads, whatever). Stick with the low-key recorded music.

My take: I think most folks like to use that time to kick back, relax, eat, drink and chat it up with their friends without having to loudly shout above all manner of amplified intrusions. Then they like to enjoy the show.

I know you can’t please all the people all the time. But, in my opinion, this would be a good step.
