Investigation underway following hotel fire

TOTAL LOSS—Firefighters from Ventura County, Oxnard and Ventura fire departments work to put out a massive blaze at a four-story hotel that was under construction near Las Posas Road and Ventura Boulevard in Camarillo on April 12. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Traffic on the 101 Freeway slowed to a crawl during the nighttime fire as passing motorists took out their cellphones to record the inferno.
