Foundation names new CEO


The Camarillo Ranch Foundation recently appointed Marissa Lopez Elkins as its new CEO.As part of the CRF team for six years, Elkins emphasized community programming and financial stability while expanding the venue rental program and introducing new community events, such as the monthly Throwback Thursday Food Truck Festival and the annual Wedding Showcase.

As chief operating officer for three years, she oversaw the organization’s growth strategy, increasing the foundation’s annual operating budget by 35 percent, recruiting professional staff and working alongside the board of directors to create a plan to guide the organization through 2021.

Elkins grew up in Ventura County and graduated from Harvard with a bachelor’s degree in history. She is enrolled in the executive MBA program at Cal Lutheran University and lives in Ventura with her husband, Joseph.
