Sometime between Jan. 5 and 6, about $500 in property was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 300 block of Spindlewood Avenue.

Vandals caused about $3,000 in damage to a car parked in the 3100 block of Canopy Drive sometime between Jan. 6 and 7.

It was reported Jan. 6 that sometime between Dec. 30 and Jan. 1 vandals caused less than $400 in damage to a property in the 200 block of Arneill Road.

About $18,000 in property was stolen from a locked car parked in the 60 block of E. Daily Drive on Jan. 6.

A shoplifter stole shelves from the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd., on Jan. 6.

It was reported Jan. 7 that sometime between Dec. 19 and Jan. 6 someone broke into a classroom at Mesa Union School, 3901 Mesa School Road, and stole a $200 computer monitor.

A handgun was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Catalina Drive on Jan. 7.

Shoplifters stole more than $400 in property from the Reebok store, 740 E. Ventura Blvd., on Jan. 7.

A bicycle was stolen in the 300 block of Arneill Road on Jan. 7.

A 47-year-old man is wanted on battery charges for allegedly hitting a 44-year-old man in the 60 block of Raemere Street on Jan. 8.

A 33-year-old man was arrested Jan. 7 on multiple felony charges for allegedly shoplifting clothes from a store in the 700 block of E. Ventura Boulevard. Police said the man used pliers to remove security tags from the clothing.

A 51-year-old man was arrested Jan. 7 in the 1600 block of E. Daily Drive after he allegedly drove his car into a pillar on the side of the road while driving drunk.

Burglars broke into storage units at Marz Farms, 3745 Los Angeles Ave. in Somis, sometime between Jan. 7 and 9, and stole an undisclosed amount of property.

A car parked in the 400 block of Calle La Sombra was burglarized Jan. 8.

A car parked in the 600 block of E. Daily Drive was burglarized sometime between Jan. 8 and 9. The victim reported a car stereo was stolen and considerable damage was caused to the interior of the car.

On Jan. 9, a 51-year-old man was arrested after he was allegedly found lying passed out next to his van in the parking lot of the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd., around 2:07 p.m. According to police, the man had been involved in a car accident earlier that day and had left the scene of the crash before exchanging information with other drivers. Police said the man was unable to move because he was drunk and suffering from injuries he sustained in the accident.

Three men, ages 22, 23 and 24, were arrested Jan. 9 near Peoples Avenue and Barry Street on multiple felony charges, including second-degree vehicle burglary, participation in a street gang and resisting arrest.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 9 near Daily Drive and Montana Street on multiple charges, including hit-and-run, evading police and driving with a suspended license. She also allegedly possessed marijuana.

About $1,000 in cash was stolen from an unlocked home in the 4900 block of Alta Colina Road on Jan. 9 sometime between 11:15 a.m. and noon.

A 16-year-old was arrested Jan. 9 and charged with stealing liquor from the Vons supermarket at 5275 Mission Oaks Blvd.

Vandals used a rock to smash the window of a car parked in the 2100 block of Dexter Street on Jan. 9.

A shed at Mira Vista Village Apartments, 2700 E. Ponderosa Drive, was burglarized Jan. 9 and property was stolen.

Assailants attacked a 32yearold man in the 2500 block of Ventura Boulevard on Jan. 10 around 10:50 p.m. According to police, the victim was hit in the head with an unknown object.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 10 in the 1900 block of E. Ventura Boulevard on charges of resisting and obstructing a police officer.

A 52-year-old man was arrested Jan. 10 in the 2800 block of Avenida de Autian on charges of residential burglary, carrying a loaded firearm in his car, false imprisonment and battery.

More than $2,000 in purses was stolen from the Coach purse store, 900 Camarillo Center Drive, on Jan. 11.

A van was burglarized Jan. 11 in the 600 block of E. Ventura Boulevard.

Between Jan 7 and 11, police reported arresting two people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, six people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, five people were arrested on various drug charges, and two people were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
