Two people have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a Camarillo bank last month.

Anthony Edwards, 36, and Alicia Brown, 33, of Los Angeles each face a charge of second- degree robbery, a felony, in connection with an Oct. 4 incident at Citibank on Arneill Road.

Police said that around 11:40 a.m., employees at the bank reported that a man wearing a fluorescent construction vest, a wig with dreadlocks and a COVIDstyle face mask approached a teller and demanded money. The man took money—authorities have not said how much—from the teller’s hand and bank drawer before leaving the bank and running to a vehicle that was parked in the area.

An investigation by multiple Ventura County sheriff’s units and the FBI led authorities to Brown and Edwards. Law enforcement officers served a search warrant at the suspects’ home in the 100 block of S. Burlington Avenue in Los Angeles, where detectives found evidence linking the two to the crime, the sheriff’s office said.
