Twenty teams competed in the competition and were judged on robot performance and design, teamwork, and project presentation. Students had about two months to build and test their Lego robots for the tournament. Monte Vista Mind Storm Masters took second place overall and also took second place in robot performance with scores of 99, 114 and 134 missing first place by just 2 points. Monte Vista Mind Storm Masters team members include Mason Bender, Brandon Benich, Michael Fischler, David Fraley, David Gatchel, Michael Mayper, Trevor Pepperdine, Ryan Smith and Lexi Townley. 		</description>
