May 6

A 37- year- old woman was arrested in the 1000 block of Daily Drive for drinking and driving. She was also arrested for driving on a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction.

May 8

Grand thefts were reported in the 4000 block of Via Arandana, the 1000 block of Padre Lane, the 10 block of Ponderosa Drive, the 4000 block of Verdugo Way, the 1000 block of Mission Verde Drive and the 5000 block of Creekside Road.

A man, 31, was arrested at Ponderosa and Valle Lindo drives for drinking and driving.

A 41-year-old man was arrested at Ventura Boulevard and Glenn Drive for drug use.

May 9

Between 9:30 p.m. May 8 and 6:30 a.m. May 9, burglars broke into a locked car parked in the 100 block of Calle de La Rosa and stole more than $950 in property.

A man, 54, was arrested in the 900 block of Arneill Road for drug possession.

Someone was battered in the 800 block of Calle Circulo.

Around 10 a.m., someone broke into a locked car parked at Rancho Calleguas Drive and Mission Oaks Boulevard and stole more than $950 in property.

Personal identification information was stolen from residents in the 400 block of Blanco Court and the 2000 block of Ponderosa Drive.

A 35-year-old man was arrested in the 2000 block of Ventura Boulevard on a warrant for failing to show up for his jail sentence.

A 34-year-old man was arrested in the 900 block of Paseo Camarillo for drug use and possession.

A man, 35, was arrested in the 80 block of Oak Street for stealing a car.

A man, 31, was arrested at Las Posas Road and Temple Avenue for public intoxication.

A woman, 26, was arrested in the 1000 block of Del Norte Road for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Grand thefts were reported in the 5000 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard, the 1000 block of Del Ciervo Place, the 800 block of Sharon Drive and the 600 block of Buenos Tiempos Drive.

May 10

Around 11:30 a.m., someone stole up to $950 in property from an unlocked car parked in the 300 block of Carmen Drive.

A man, 30, was arrested in the 1000 block of Jose Avenue for being under the influence of drugs. He was also arrested for possessing and distributing drug paraphernalia.

A man, 41, was arrested in the 60 block of Daily Drive for drug use and possession, possessing burglar’s tools and giving false information to a police officer.

May 11

A 41- year- old woman was arrested at Panera Bread, 640 Ventura Blvd., for delaying a police officer. She was also arrested for petty theft.

An 18-year-old man was arrested in the 900 block of Camarillo Center Drive for carrying a concealed firearm.

Someone made criminal threats to another person in the 80 block of Glenbrook Avenue.

May 12

Personal identification information was stolen from residents in the 4000 block of

Central Avenue and the 300 block of Arneill Road.

A man, 54 was arrested in the 2000 block of Diamond Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Between 10:30 p.m. May 11 and 8 a.m. May 12, someone stole up to $950 in property from an unlocked car parked in the 300 block of Manzanita Street.

A woman, 48, was arrested at Daily and Carmen drives for having false vehicle registration tabs.

May 13

A man, 24, was arrested in the 800 block of Eston Street for drug use and possession.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in the 1000 block of Daily Drive for battering another person and for drug use and possession.

A man, 28, was arrested at Prairieview Street and Meadowview Drive for delaying a police officer.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at Target, 209 Ventura Blvd., for being under the influence of drugs.

Grand theft was reported in the 300 block of Loma Drive.

May 14

A man, 33, and a woman, 24, were arrested at Target, 209 Ventura Blvd., for shoplifting.

A woman, 30, was arrested in the 800 block of Arneill Road for drug use and possession.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at Target, 209 Ventura Blvd., for being under the influence of drugs.

In compiling this week’s Sheriff ’s Blotter, we noted several grand theft incidents reported throughout the city.

The Camarillo Police Department sent out a press release yesterday on the thefts, but the Acorn was not able to print the details by press time.
