Healing center opens in town
A Healing Place–The Estates is a new treatment center for Ventura County residents with chronic pain, psychological disorders and addiction at 601 E. Daily Drive, Ste. 205.
For millions of Americans who are suffering with chronic pain, many physicians prescribe opiate medication. Unfortunately, these medications can be addictive and can contribute to other psychological and biological health complications.
According to A Healing Place, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services notes that 78 people per day die from an opioid-related overdose.
The founding partners of A Healing Place–The Estates are John C. Stenzel, CEO; Dr. Joseph A. Cabaret, a local pain interventionist who is board certified in pain medicine, addiction medication and anesthesiology; and Dr. Stephen F. Grinstead, developer/author of the Addiction Free Pain Management System on which the treatment program is based.
A Healing Place is accepting patients into its full-day treatment program, with optional transitional living at a private residence.
The center addresses the suffering of individuals with chronic pain and coexisting disorders with a comprehensive, integrated approach to pain management.
