Saluting their daughter’s success



ACCOMPLISHED—Haley Coggins, a sixth-grader at Los Primeros School of Sciences and Arts, received the Youth We Appreciate Award from the Camarillo Noontime Optimist Club at its Jan. 30 meeting. Samantha Sontag, Haley’s teacher, said the 11-year-old is a very kind, giving and outstanding student who is participating in volleyball and yearbook at LPSSA. She has also done cultural dancing and helped displayflags to honor the fallen in Guam, where her father was stationed. Haley’s parents, Chris and Erica Coggins, were on hand for the lunchtime ceremony.
