Paw Works adds second location
Paw Works, a local animal rescue, recently opened its second adoption center at the Pacific View Mall in Ventura. The first rescue is in The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks.
In addition to the Adoption Center and Pet Boutique, the new space has an added element called The Loft, an upscale resale boutique where 100 percent of the net proceeds will directly benefit the Paw Works animals.
Paw Works is in need of immediate donations of new or gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, along with household goods and furniture. Donations can be picked up from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles.
The Paw Works nonprofit was established in January 2014 to partner with the Ventura County Animal Shelter in order to make this a no-kill county, which was accomplished within 30 days. Paw Works has expanded to neighboring counties. For more information or to schedule a pickup, call Chad at (805) 616-4101 or Christina at (805) 890-1857.
