Church members reach out to help

WORKING TOGETHER—More than 400 volunteers took part in the Community Helping Hands project at various locations in Camarillo and Oxnard on April 26. As part of the event, volunteers gleaned nearly 10 tons of fruit from homes in Camarillo and Somis. The food was donated to the Oxnard-based FOOD Share. Pictured are members of the Camarillo First Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered around oranges they picked during the daylong event, which was sponsored by the Camarillo Stake of the LDS Church.
