Camarillo team takes national title


COAST TO COAST—The AYSO girls’ U-10 national team from Camarillo shut out the competition at the AYSO’s annual National Games tournament in Tennessee July 3 to 7. The Camarillo team, named Shark Bait Ooh Ha Ha, went 16-0 to win its pool and earn the title of national champions. Throughout the tournament, the Camarillo team played teams from Michigan, Virginia and Tennessee. The team members are, seated from left: Bailey Lewis and Malia Baker. Standing from left: Kailey Monahan, Makenna Soliz, Jaydin Marucut, Madison Bush, Justice Jones, Sela Laudato and Jadelyn Villasenor.
