Fair comes with a healthy attitude

PREVENTIVE CARE—Kevin Danna, left, has his blood pressure taken by Elvia Torres in the Ventura County Health Agency’s mobile clinic at the Alive Healthcare Festival in Old Town Camarillo on May 28. The afternoon event hosted by the Rotary Club of Camarillo included healthcare screenings, immunizations and other health-related services such as hearing and vision tests. The purpose of the festival was to reach out to people without access to the resources and expertise they may need for healthcare. At right, Aaron Bates, a Camarillo-based chiropractor, provides a realignment for Camille Warren during the afternoon event.
