St. John’s appoints new hospital president
John Bibby has been appointed president and CEP of St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital. He is responsible for the executive leadership and daily operations of St. John’s facility in Camarillo and reports to Laurie Eberst, president and CEO of the Catholic Healthcare West Ventura County service area and St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
Bibby has served as interim president of the hospital since April and as vice president of human resources for St. John’s hospitals since 2005. In addition, he has been responsible for the operational leadership of key ancillary departments at St. John’s hospitals since 2008.
Prior to 2005, Bibby served as director of human resources and safety officer at Memorial Hospital in Gardena, Calif.; director of human resources at Barstow Community Hospital/ Community Health Systems in Barstow; and at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.
Bibby graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in human resources management/labor relations and an MBA with a concentration in human resources management.
