Someone sneaked through an unlocked back door into Willem Hair Design, 95 E. Daily Drive, and stole $6,800 in property sometime between Aug. 28 and 29. A 32-yearold man was arrested Aug. 30 in connection with the crime.

It was reported Aug. 31 that, sometime between Aug. 28 and 29, a duffel bag was stolen from a building in the 1900 block of Dunnigan Street. The victim reported $115 in stolen property.

A wallet was stolen from a backpack at a training center in the 100 block of Durley Avenue on Aug. 30. In addition, a $1,000 laptop was stolen.

A 32-year-old man was arrested Aug. 30 while in custody at the Main Jail in Ventura, 800 S. Victoria Ave., on charges of felony grand theft committed in the 90 block of E. Daily Drive.

An iPhone was stolen from the skate park in the 1500 block of Temple Avenue on Aug. 31.

A 23-year-old man was arrested Aug. 31 on two counts of burglary, petty theft and being under the influence of a controlled substance in the 40 block of Calle La Sombra. A 24-year-old woman was arrested on the same charges.

Sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, someone broke into the locked library at St. John’s Seminary, 5012 Seminary Road, and tried to break into a metal cabinet. The victim reported $250 in damage.

A reported $475 in property was stolen from an unlocked apartment in the 600 block of N. Lantana Street on Sept. 1 sometime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, a vandal scratched letters into a wooden desk at the Camarillo Library, 4101 Las Posas Road.

A car parked in the 1900 block of Loma Drive was vandalized. The victim reported more than $400 in damage.

Sometime between Sept. 1 and 2, a locked trailer in the 4700 block of Calle Bolero was burglarized. The victim reported $800 in stolen property.

A car parked in the 1100 block of Gemini Court was burglarized Sept. 2. A laptop and a wallet were reported stolen.

Shoplifters stole from multiple outlet stores in the 500 and 600 blocks of Ventura Boulevard on Sept. 2.

Sometime between Sept. 1 and 2, about $600 in property was was taken from Monte Vista Middle School, 888 N. Lantana St., in April.

A woman, 57, was arrested Sept. 2 near Santa Rosa and Oak Canyon roads on charges of causing an accident with injury while drunk driving.

A man, 25, was arrested Sept. 2 near Ventura Boulevard and Factory Stores Drive on charges of being in possession of stolen property.

An undisclosed amount of property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 1800 block of Ramona Drive sometime between Sept. 2 and 3.

Someone looked into the window of a home in the 6300 block of W. Greentree Drive on Sept. 3.

Vandals caused less than $400 in damage to property in the 4500 block of Calle Argolla on Sept. 3.

A work van was burglarized sometime between Sept. 3 and 4 in the 4400 block of Calle Quetzal. The victim reported that the van had been rifled through but not that any property had been stolen.

About $600 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 200 block of S. Glenn Drive sometime between Sept. 3 and 4.

About $13 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 600 block of Corte

A man, 41, was arrested Sept. 4 in the 600 block of Hillcrest Drive on multiple charges, including drug possession in the 2100 block of Pickwick Avenue.

Skateboarders caused damage to the surface of tennis courts in the 550 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard sometime between Sept. 4 and 5.

An 18-year-old man was arrested Sept. 9 near Worth Way and Stacy Lane for giving false information to a police officer and for an outstanding warrant stemming from an earlier arrest for burglary.

A man, 26, was arrested Sept. Sept. 6 sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

A thief stole about $1,100 in property from an unlocked residence in the 1000 block of Temple Avenue on Sept. 6 sometime between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Between Aug. 31 and Sept. 6, police reported arresting two people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, three people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 10 people were arrested on various drug charges, and two were arrested for being drunk in public.
