NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS—
Tickets are now on sale for CineMagic, the Pleasant Valley Education Foundation’s annual musical extravaganza. The recital features nearly 200 Camarillo third- through eighth-grade students. CineMagic will be performed at Pacifica High School April 16 at 7 p.m. and April 17 at 1 and 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.pvef .org or by calling (866) 967-8167. Tickets will also be available at the box office prior to the show. At top, students practice their vignette based on the popular 1978 musical “The Wiz.” At right, the Tin Man, played by 9-year-old Carl Anderson, a third-grader at Camarillo Academy of Progressive Education, has his makeup applied during a recent dress rehearsal.
