Sample, learn about whiskey at tasting

Whisky Business, a Ventura County whiskey tasting club, will host its inaugural tasting event at 6 p.m. Fri., Feb. 19 at Eric’s restaurant, 495 N. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

The tasting will focus on seven different Irish whiskeys.

William Terry, general manager of Wade’s Wines in Westlake Village, will give a presentation about the whiskeys being tasted.

The cost is $30 and includes light appetizers. Space is limited.
