Business community invited to conference

Business owners will hear speakers address their business issues and motivate them to succeed in 2010 at the Power to Business Conference on Tues., Feb. 9 at Amgen headquarters in Newbury Park.

The event is presented by the National Association of Women Business Owners of Ventura County.

Speakers include Ana Recio Harvey, director of the SBA’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership; David Allen, a leading authority on personal and organization productivity; Jim Cathcart, award-winning motivational speaker; and other specialists in the fields of financing, certification and security issues.

Panel topics will include “Secure Your Infrastructure and Prevent identity Theft,” “Powerful Advantages of Certification” and “Power Up Your Business Financing.”
