A 28-year-old woman was arrested Oct. 12 in the 1500 block of Sequan Court and charged with resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.
Sometime between Oct. 12 and 14, about $400 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 7000 block of Quito Court.
Sometime between Oct. 12 and 16, more than $400 in property was stolen from a work truck parked in the 400 block of Calle San Pablo.
A 26-year-old man and a 21-yearold woman were arrested Oct. 13 in the 1400 block of Calle Lozano on charges of domestic battery.
It was reported Oct. 14 that sometime between Sept. 16 and 22 a forger stole a check from the mailbox of a home in the 5100 block of Meadow View Drive, washed the check, rewrote the amount for $175 and then cashed it without the victim knowing.
A 22-year-old man was arrested Oct. 14 in the 900 block of Easton Street on misdemeanor battery charges.
It was reported Oct. 14 that on Oct. 12 an undisclosed amount of property was stolen from Somis Elementary School, 5268 North St.
Sometime between Oct. 14 and 15, vandals smashed the window of a business in the 300 block of W. Hueneme Road.
A shoplifter stole more than $400 in property from the Sunglass Hut, 910 Camarillo Center Drive, on Oct. 15.
Vandals caused less than $400 in damage to state- and city-owned property near Daily Drive and Lewis Road on Oct. 15.
A 19-year-old man was arrested Oct. 15 near Dawson Drive and Dawson Place on multiple charges, including possession of fake documents and driving without a license.
A 51-year-old woman was arrested Oct. 15 in the 1200 block of N. Woodcreek Road and charged with being in a car accident while under the influence of prescription medication.
A 40-year-old man was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with stealing less than $400 in merchandise from a gas station store in the 500 block of N. Las Posas Road.
A 35-year-old man was arrested Oct. 15 in the 5200 block of Creekside Street on multiple drug charges. During a probation search, police also recovered a cache of personal identification documents. The man was then arrested on charges of identity theft.
Sometime between Oct. 15 and 16 a 23-year-old man reported he was hit in the back of the head while checking his car tire near Hueneme and Nauman roads and awoke later in a parking lot in Oxnard.
Less than $400 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 400 block of Deerhurst Avenue sometime between Oct. 15 and 16.
Sometime between Oct. 15 and 17, an unreported amount of property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 5000 block of North Street in Somis.
A 23-year-old man was arrested Oct. 16 in the 5000 block of Verdugo Way on an outstanding warrant stemming from an earlier arrest for allegedly selling drugs.
A 29-year-old woman was arrested Oct. 16 at the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road, and charged with shoplifting a videogame. The woman was also charged with being under the influence of drugs and possession of drugs.
Three juveniles were arrested Oct. 17 near Ventura Boulevard and Las Posas Road on misdemeanor vandalism charges.
A 37-year-old man was arrested Oct. 17 near Las Posas Road and Daily Drive on two out-of-county warrants stemming from an earlier arrest on a charge of stealing a car.
A 28-year-old man was robbed by a man who said he was armed at around 9:10 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 2400 block of Pickwick Drive.
Two women, ages 58 and 20, were cited and released Oct. 17 in the 1300 block of Del Norte Road on misdemeanor battery charges. According to police, the 20-year-old woman jumped on the other woman’s windshield and broke it.
A 33-year-old man and 42-yearold woman were arrested Oct. 17 in the 1700 block of Del Prado on multiple charges, including being under the influence of a controlled substance, drug possession and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Sometime between Oct. 17 and 18 a thief stole a Green Bay Packers football team flag from above the garage of a home in the 1800 block of N. Dewayne Avenue.
Sometime between Oct. 17 and 18 a vandal shot the window of a home in the 1300 block of Nordman Drive, causing $1,000 in damage.
Sometime between Oct. 17 and 18 vandals broke into Monte Vista Middle School, 888 N. Lantana St., and used a fire extinguisher to break windows and shatter the locks of the office and library. Police are still investigating the amount of stolen property. The school reported $1,200 in damage. Earlier in the month, Oct. 1 to 2, vandals had broken into the office and used the school’s master keys to steal $394 in checks and cash and cellphones, totaling more than $1,000 in stolen property from classrooms throughout the campus. The vandals caused about $500 in damage to the school.
A 48-year-old man was arrested Oct. 19 in the 3900 block of Camino Ranchero on charges that he stole a car.
An 18-year-old male was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with shoplifting from a store in the 1600 block of Arneill Road.
Between Oct. 13 and Oct. 19, police reported arresting five people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, four people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 19 people were arrested on various drug charges and one person was arrested for reportedly being drunk in public.
