'Todd' tells dark tale

The Broadway award-winning musical thriller, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" will run through Sun., July 26 at the Camarillo Community Theatre, 330 Skyway Drive, inside the airport.

"Todd" tells the story of a man falsely accused of a crime and sentenced to 15 years while his wife and daughter are taken from him by the man who sent him away. The play examines Todd's thirst for vengeance and how far he will go for his revenge.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

Every Friday night is two tickets for the price of one for students only. Discounts may not be combined. Group rates are available.

Ticket prices are $10 to $18. Patrons who bring a nonperishable food item for FOOD Share will receive a free popcorn from the snack bar.
