Harwood to run for Assembly
      Warren Harwood has declared his candidacy for the Democratic party nomination in the 2010 June primary election. He will be running for Audra Strickland's seat in the 37th Assembly District. Strickland will term out in 2010.

Camarillo's Architecture, Construction and Engineering High School
      Students who graduate from a high school that's expected to open at the Camarillo Airport next year may have a career edge over other students, say backers of the Architecture, Construction and Engineering High School (ACE), which the Oxnard Union High School District agreed to charter last month.

Camarillo teen earns Eagle Scout rank
     CONGRATS—Cliff Williams III, 18, center, of Camarillo received his Eagle Scout badge May 31 during a ceremony at Padre Serra Catholic Church in Camarillo. His parents, Clifford and Liza, also attended the ceremony. For his Eagle Scout project, Cliff—with the help of his fellow scouts and friends— beautified the picnic table area of the Oxnard Regional Fire Department Academy at the Camarillo Airport by preparing the soil and pouring a large concrete pad and laying a brick path. The teen, who was also Camarillo High School's homecoming king and a two-sport athlete, will attend Moorpark College in the fall.
