22nd 'Taste of Camarillo' at Ranch House

Meadowlark Service League will present the 22nd annual "A Taste of Camarillo" wine and food festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Sun., July 26 on the lawns of the Adolfo Camarillo Ranch House, 201 Camarillo Ranch Road, Camarillo.

Proceeds will benefit Camarillo and Greater Ventura County charities.

Guests will be able to sample fine wines and food from a variety of wineries and restaurants.

Country group Blue Moon and jazz singer Jeanne Tatum will provide live entertainment.

CBS 2 and KCAL 9 news reporter Serene Branson will serve as master of ceremonies.

The event also includes an opportunity drawing, silent auction and boutique shopping.

A pre-event Wine Auction Gala and Dinner will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sat., July 25 at the Camarillo Ranch.

This event will have live and silent auctions of fine and rare wines, a gourmet dinner and live music by the Big Little Jazz Band.

Auction items include a '06 Mollydooker Velvet Glove, Robert Parker 99 pts. for the wine connoisseur, a ski weekend in Mammoth, a hot air balloon ride and catered gourmet dinners.

Advance reservations are required. Tickets for A Taste of Camarillo are $75 in advance and $85 at the door. Tickets for the gala and dinner are $60. A weekend pass for both events is $125.
