Sometime between June 5 and 9, vandals caused $1,000 in damage by hitting a fence at El Descanso Elementary School, 1099 N. Bedford Drive.

Sometime between June 6 and 13, a residence in the 900 block of Mission Drive was burglarized. A reported $1,165 in property was stolen.

A 28-year-old man was arrested June 8 in the 2100 block of Euclid Avenue on battery charges.

Sometime between June 8 and 9, vandals spray painted the Ventura Investment Company near the corner of Fulton Street and Pickwick Drive.

Sometime between June 8 and 11, vandals caused about $200 in damage to property in the 2000 block of E. Ventura Boulevard.

A 21-year-old man was arrested June 9 near Lewis Road and Ventura Boulevard on felony charges of drug possession and possession of a deadly weapon, a knife. The man was also charged with driving with a suspended license, being under the influence of a controlled substance and being in possession of an imitation firearm.

A 30-year-old man was arrested June 9 near Calle La Sombra and Calle La Prada on felony assault charges for allegedly punching a 21-year-old man three times in the face. According to police, the suspect apparently attacked the wrong man and apologized for punching him.

Burglars broke into John's Custom Tile and Camarillo California Properties, both at 321 Cortez Circle, and stole $6,151 in property sometime between June 9 and 10.

A reported $210 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 4900 block of Alta Colina Road sometime between June 9 and 10.

Two women, ages 22 and 23, were arrested June 9 and charged with shoplifting from the CVS Pharmacy, 351 Carmen Drive.

A 22-year-old female sales clerk was arrested June 10 for allegedly stealing $1,200 in sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, 910 Camarillo Center Drive.

A shoplifter stole $200 in merchandise from Beach Bums Skateboards, 740 E. Ventura Blvd., on June 10.

A 16-year-old male was arrested June 10 for allegedly scratching the paint of a car parked in the 800 block of Calle La Roda and assaulting a 51year-old man who caught the teen.

A 23-year-old man was arrested June 10 in the 700 block of Mobil Avenue on charges of battery.

Two women, ages 29 and 35, were arrested June 11 in the 700 block of Paseo Camarillo on multiple charges, including violating parole, being under the influence of drugs, giving false information to a police officer and for four outstanding warrants.

A 15-year-old was arrested June 11 in the 2800 block of E. Landen Street for allegedly hitting a 47-year-old woman.

A thief stole $331 from a desk drawer at Gateway School, 200 Horizon Circle, on June 11.

A 41-year-old man was arrested June 12 in the 5500 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard on charges of child endangerment, being drunk in public, drug possession and parole violation.

A male and female, both 16, are suspected of stealing an $800 cellphone from an unlocked car parked in the 5200 block of Laurel Park Drive on June 12.

A 45-year-old man was arrested June 12 in the 30 block of N. Lewis Road and charged with possession of a deadly weapon.

A burglar broke into a locked storage room at University Charter Middle School, 700 Temple Ave., and stole $780 in property sometime between June 13 and 14.

A wallet was stolen from a purse in the 5000 block of Verdugo Way sometime between June 12 and 13.

A car parked in the 500 block of Calle La Roda was burglarized sometime between June 13 and 14. A reported $20 in property was stolen.

Between June 9 and 15, police reported arresting two people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, 13 people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 13 people were arrested on various drug charges and one person was arrested for allegedly being drunk in public.
