I am writing in regards to the May 29 article "Parents upset, frustrated by principal's dismissal" at Las Posas Elementary School.

Both my children and several of our friends' children attend this wonderful school. I support the parents in regard to the principal's accomplishments, but no good leader could do this alone.

My experience with the teachers and office staff has always been a pleasant one.

In these days of teacher layoffs and budget cuts, I applaud the Las Posas teachers and staff for their care of our children. They have acted in ways that honor their sometimes unappreciated field. Joseph Ysais Camarillo
