Sisterhood to meet
The program is election of officers for 20092010 and finalizing plans for the art show on June 19. All Jewish women are welcomed. For more information, call (805) 388-3824. Called to Torah Camarillo resident Michael Jacob Fischler, 13, son of Sandra and David Fischler, was called to the Torah May 30. Michael read from the 14th chapter of Deuteronomy, as is the tradition on the holiday of Shavuot. Student Rabbi Lisa Bach and Rabbi Michael Lotker presided during the Service. Michael attends Monte Vista middle School. Church will offer summer program Camarillo United Methodist Church will offer the 14th annual Journey Through The Arts summer program from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Mon. through Fri., June 15 to 19 at the church, 291 Anacapa Drive. The program is open to children entering kindergarten through fifth grade this fall. Activities include skits, songs, crafts, snacks and games. Each child will receive a music CD and songbook. Cost is $25 per child with a maximum of $40 per family. Scholarships are available. Preregistration is encouraged.
