A 49-year-old man was arrested May 31 in the 30 block of N. Lewis Road for allegedly hitting an Amtrak train engineer. The man allegedly kicked and spat at three Ventura County Sheriff's Department deputies.
Vandals caused a reported $3,000 in damage to four different properties on Upland Road between Paseo Noche and Terra Bella Lane on May 31.
A car parked in the 200 block of S. Glenn Drive was burglarized sometime between May 31 and June 1. The victim reported $200 in damage.
Between May 26 and June 1, police reported arresting five people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license.
During that same time period, eight people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 19 people were arrested on various drug charges, and two people were arrested for allegedly being drunk in public.
