     THEY'RE TOPS—The Mustang AA Padres youth baseball team finished their season May 20 with a league-best 19-1-1 record. The Padres took home both the league and tournament championship titles. The team includes J.P. Arbon, Jonah Cottrell, Sean Hoskins, Brandon Townley, Kyle Randel, Eric Pachowicz, Dante Della Libera, Coby Payer, Adrian Torres, Austine Aune, Miguel Torres and J.P. Martinez. The team is coached by Mike Townley, Laurence Cottrell and manager Mark Pachowicz.

Blood drive tomorrow
      Springville Storage Suites will host a blood drive from noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow, June 6 at 396 W. Ventura Blvd., behind Home Depot, in Camarillo. Prizes will be raffled off throughout the event. Canned food donations will be collected for donation to FOOD Share food bank.

Girls plays older teams, still win tourney
     TOURNEY WINNERS—Early last month, the Camarillo Eagles girl's under-10 team won the Kickers Simi Valley Spring Cup competing in the 11-year-old age bracket. The team was undefeated and did not allow any goals during the tournamnent. The girls who participated included Amy Bailey, Jackie Banning, Morgan Bogust, Bradie Ellias, Kristen Enriquez, Sami Fairweather, Lulu Gilbert, Cara Grubel, Jackie Grubel, Louie Ishikawa, Kayla Manion, Sofia Richie, Hannah Sharts, Brooke Wynalda, Kylee Yturralde and Kiki Pickett. The team is coached by Andrew Montenegro and managed by Jill Fairweather.
