Moms, sons on a roll
     PERFECT GAME—Saint Mary Magdalen School kindergarten teacher Caroline Waltman and her son, Nicholas, who is a student at the private Catholic school on Ventura Boulevard in Old Town Camarillo, bowled the night away at the inaugural Mother and Son Bowling Night at Harley's Camarillo Bowl May 29. According to school officials, nearly 100 families participated in the event. As an aside, congratulations to the school's eighthgrade class that graduated yesterday.

Christians will be 'Takin' It to the Streets'
      ACTION (Area Christians Taking Initiative on Needs) will present the sixth annual Ventura County "Takin' It to the Streets" community service program to help individuals and agencies in need starting at 8 a.m. Sat. and Sun., June 6 and 7 at various sites throughout the county.

      The Sisterhood of Temple Ner Ami will meet at 7 p.m. Tues., June 16 at 4098 Calle Tesoro, Camarillo. The program is election of officers for 20092010 and finalizing plans for the art show on June 19. All Jewish women are welcomed.
