The performance will include such songs as "Who's Afraid of the Big Bag Wolf?" and "Circle of Life" as well as songs from such Disney movies as "Snow White" and "Mary Poppins." Tickets are a donation of $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $5 for children 12 and under with paid adult. Children 10 and under in full Disney costume will be admitted free. For more information or tickets, call (805) 675-4222 or visit www.goldcoastchorus.org Summer school The Rio School District will offer a summer school session at each elementary school campus for first through fifthgrade students from 8 a.m. to noon, July 6 to 30. Summer school for sixthgrade students will be at Rio Plaza Elementary School and for seventh-grade students at the Office of Student and Family Services. Friday's activities will be provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme. Construction of science labs at the two middle schools will prevent the district from offering summer school on those campuses. A free community lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. for all students under age 18. For more information about summer school, call Dr. Angela Randolph at (805) 485-3111, ext. 128. The district also will partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs to provide after-school summer school from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at every Rio school site. Theater alumni sought The 40th anniversary for the Camarillo Community Theatre will be in 2020. The theater is looking for anyone that participated at the theater during its first year, 1970. Actors, producers, tech persons, directors or anyone who was on the board of directors is invited to contact the theater. Event organizers would like to know the plays and/or musicals that the theater may have produced during 1970. If anyone was involved with or saw a show in 1970, call Janis Johnson at (805) 4878812.
