Sometime between May 17 and 18, a car parked in the 1000 block of Temple Avenue was burglarized. The victim reported a car stereo and a box of tools were stolen.
A 43-year-old man was arrested May 18 around midnight in the 5300 block of North Street in Somis on battery charges. He allegedly headbutted a 39-year-old man in the nose.
Sometime between May 18 and 19, a vandal caused $2,000 in damage by scratching the paint of a car parked in the 2600 block of E. Ponderosa Drive.
Sometime between May 18 and 19, a thief stole $370 in property from an unlocked car parked in the 3300 block of E. Canoga Place.
Burglars stole $500 in property from a locked storage container of a business in the 9500 block of Cotharin Road sometime between May 18 and 19.
Vandals caused less than $400 in damage to the Camarillo Community Theatre building, 330 Skyway Drive, sometime between May 18 and 19.
A vandal caused less than $400 in damage to the door of a car parked in the 3000 block of E. Landen Street sometime between May 18 and 19.
A 41-year-old man was arrested May 19 near Carmen and Daily drives on multiple misdemeanor charges, including possession of an altered fake gun, being under the influence of drugs, possessing a hypodermic needle and an outstanding out-of-county felony warrant.
A forger used a fake $94 check to pay for a room at the Good Nite Inn, 1100 E. Ventura Blvd., on May 19.
A 46-year-old man was arrested May 19 near Naval Air and Wood roads in Oxnard on charges that he left the scene of an accident near Lewis Road and Ventura Boulevard on May 13.
A 38-year-old man was arrested May 19 for allegedly embezzling about $1,000 in property from his employer, Harbor Freight Tools, 3491 Mission Oaks Blvd.
It was reported May 19 that a thief stole prescription medication from a home in the 2000 block of Dewayne Avenue. According to police, two other men were suspected in the theft. The home was locked.
A 51-year-old woman was arrested May 20 in the 600 block of W. Ventura Boulevard on multiple felony charges, including burglary, identity theft, conspiracy and forgery for allegedly trying to buy $444 worth of clothing with a fake credit card. A 37-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were also arrested in the 500 block of W. Ventura Boulevard for allegedly using a fake credit card to purchase two pairs of shoes.
A 27-year-old man was arrested May 21 in the 1300 block of Parkhill Court for allegedly walking into a residence in the same block and challenging the victim to a fight. The man reportedly swung a large barbell at the victim. The man was also charged with being drunk in public.
A thief stole more than $580 in property from a building in the 5200 block of North Street in Somis on May 21.
Sometime between May 20 and 21, a vandal wrote graffiti on the walls of the bathroom at CVS Pharmacy, 351 Carmen Drive.
A 20-year-old woman was arrested May 22 in the 100 block of Camino Ruiz on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A 19-year-old man was arrested at the same time and location for allegedly possessing marijuana.
A 19-year-old man was arrested May 21 at the Camarillo skate park on Temple Avenue on charges of trespassing.
A 38-year-old man was arrested May 22 in the 2600 block of E. Ponderosa Drive on charges of spousal battery and dissuading a witness from testifying.
A 47-year-old man was arrested May 22 in the 1800 block of Wolverton Avenue on an outstanding felony warrant for possession of a deadly weapon.
A 34-year-old woman was arrested May 22 at the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road, on charges of petty theft and being under the influence of drugs.
An 18-year-old man was arrested May 22 in the 1700 block of Jose Avenue on misdemeanor charges of vandalism in connection with damage to property in the 700 block of Los Pueblos Drive.
A shoplifter stole more than $900 in merchandise from the AT&T Wireless store, 1955 E. Daily Drive, on May 23.
A burglar smashed the window of the Valero gas station, 4676 Adolfo Road, and stole $25 worth of cigarettes sometime between May 23 and 24.
A car parked in the 2400 block of Pickwick Drive was burglarized sometime between May 23 and 24. The victim reported about $300 in stolen property.
A 53-year-old man was arrested May 24 in the 1100 block of E. Ventura Boulevard and charged with resisting arrest and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Between May 19 and 25, police reported arresting six people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, 12 people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 12 people were arrested on various drug charges, and one person was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
