A car parked in the 1400 block of Gardenia Avenue was burglarized sometime between May 11 and 12.
It was reported May 12 that a wallet was stolen from a purse at a business in the 2200 block of E. Ventura Boulevard on May 7.
A 43-year-old man who was driving a taxi was the victim of a reported carjacking May 12 around 12:45 a.m. in front of the Take 5 Bar on Arneill Road. According to police, three men entered the taxi. Shortly thereafter, one of the men threatened to cut the taxi driver's throat with a sharp object. One of three subjects reportedly jumped out of the car while it was moving because he didn't want to be involved in the carjacking. The two remaining attackers then forced the driver into the Arco gas station on Pickwick Drive, where the victim was able to escape the attackers and run away with minor injuries. The two remaining attackers then rummaged through the victim's taxi and fled on a foot. Darnell Levette, 28, was arrested in connection with the crime later that night. Another man, a Hispanic age 20 to 25 years old, is wanted in connection with the carjacking.
Sometime between May 12 and 13, a car parked in the 60 block of Bradford Avenue was burglarized. A reported $300 in property was stolen.
A 70-year-old man was arrested May 13 near Ponderosa Drive and Temple Avenue for allegedly being in involved in a traffic collision while driving under the influence of alcohol.
A 27-year-old man was arrested May 14 in the 2400 block of Apple Lane in Oxnard on charges of criminal threats and for dissuading a witness from testifying in the 600 block of Hillcrest Drive. The man allegedly threatened a 43-year-old woman.
A 19-year-old man was arrested May 15 in the 300 block of Balboa Circle on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
It was reported May 15 that sometime between May 11 and 12 someone stole $160 in property from a home in the 1700 block of Roman Avenue.
A vandal caused less than $400 in damage to property in the 500 block of N. Lantana Street sometime between May 14 and 15.
Sometime between May 15 and 16, a vandal slashed the tires of a car parked in the 1800 block of Rowland Avenue.
A 29-year-old man was arrested May 16 in the 300 block of Carmen Drive on two misdemeanor counts for battery and a felony drug charge.
A 27-year-old man was arrested May 17 in the 3900 block of Oxnard on charges of drunken driving and evading a police officer. The man was also cited for being an unlicensed driver.
A 50-year-old man was cited and released May 17 around 10 p.m. in the 600 block of Calle Del Norte on charges of disturbing the peace for playing his music too loud and for allowing his children to scream and yell outside.
A robber, who pretended to have a gun in his sweatshirt, took $257 in cash from the CVS Pharmacy, 351 Carmen Drive, on May 18 around 4:10 a.m. No one was reported injured. The robber escaped on foot.
More than $400 in farm equipment was stolen from Boskovich Farms, 2350 W. Potrero Road, sometime between May 16 and 18.
A 36-year-old Simi Valley man left his court-ordered work furlough assignment May 18 in the 500 block of Eubanks Street.
Between May 13 and 18, police reported arresting two people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, 10 people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, five people were arrested on various drug charges, and one person was arrested for allegedly being drunk in public.
