Santa Rosa Park enjoys day in sun
     WENDY PIERRO/Acorn Newspapers PARK NOW OPEN—Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks, with scissors, cuts the ribbon along with fellow Supervisor Steve Bennett and representatives from the Santa Rosa Valley Municipal Advisory Council and the Conejo Recreation and Parks District March 28 at a ceremony and barbecue for the new 50-acre Santa Rosa Park on Hill Canyon Road. The first phase of the park includes picnic benches, barbecue grills, water fountains, restrooms and a parking lot. The second phase of the project will include equestrian arenas, a grandstand, an announcer's booth for horse shows and a trail access for horses.
