Two video game consoles were stolen from an unlocked home in the 1200 block of Sparkman Avenue on Feb. 24 sometime between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Vandals caused about $1,100 in damage to a car parked in the 2400 block of E. Ventura Boulevard.
About $250 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 300 block of W. Ventura Boulevard on Feb. 24.
A 29-year-old man was arrested Feb. 25 at the Boston Market restaurant, 191 W. Ventura Blvd., on felony vandalism charges.
A 21-year-old man was arrested Feb. 25 near Hueneme and Wood roads on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, being an unlicensed driver and having an out-of-county warrant for his arrest stemming from failure to appear in court on earlier charges.
A 38-year-old man was arrested Feb. 26 in the 200 block of Carmen Drive on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drugs and being an unlicensed driver. Police also arrested a 33year-old on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of hypodermic needles, one of which contained heroin. The woman was also arrested on an out-of-county warrant stemming from an earlier arrest for petty theft.
A 22-year-old man was cited and released Feb. 26 for allegedly being in possession of an open alcoholic beverage near Upland and Flynn roads.
A bicycle was stolen from the 2400 block of Pickwick Drive on Feb. 26.
Three burglars broke into Bobbie's Mexican Grill, 302 N. Lantana St., on Feb. 26. The burglars stole two empty cash boxes.
A 29-year-old man was arrested Feb. 27 in the 200 block of Riverdale Court on a charge of battery.
Vandals caused about $300 in damage to a street sign near W. Loop Drive and Norma Court on Feb. 27.
A bicycle was stolen from the 1700 block of E. Daily Drive on Feb. 27.
A 24-year-old man was arrested Feb. 26 in the 2600 block of Ponderosa Drive on charges of drunk driving and driving with a suspended license due to an earlier DUI conviction.
An 18-year-old female was arrested Feb. 27 in the 400 block of Stanton Street on a charge of battery.
A 23-year-old man was arrested Feb. 28 and charged with gang-related assault with a deadly weapon stemming from the Jan. 7 stabbing of a 17-year-old male in the 200 block of N. Glenn Drive.
Burglars broke into iSold It On Ebay store, 5021 Verdugo Way, on Feb. 28 but did not steal any property. In the same shopping center and at the same time, burglars also broke into Paseo Nails. Police reported the business had been ransacked, but no property was reported stolen.
A 25-year-old man was arrested Feb. 28 in the 4400 block of Corte Arbusto on multiple felony charges, including possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana for sale and being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition. Police also arrested a 28-year-old woman on drug charges at the same home.
Burglars broke into Petropolis pet store, 300 N. Lantana St., on Feb. 28 and stole an empty cash register. On the same night and in the same shopping center, burglars also broke into Don's Vacuum and stole a $260 vacuum and a cash register with $400 inside.
A 57-year-old man was arrested Feb. 28 in the 2000 block of Alborada Drive and charged with slapping his girlfriend and trying to choke her.
A 36-year-old man was arrested Feb. 28 in the 5600 block of Camino Deville on charges of criminal threats and being under the influence of drugs.
It was reported March 1 that a car parked in the 1500 block of Calle La Cumbre was burglarized sometime the night before.
Vandals caused less than $400 in damage to a car parked in the 400 block of Avenida Gaviota sometime between Feb. 28 and March 1.
Sometime between Feb. 27 and March 1, a home in the 1100 block of W. Avenida De Aprisa was burglarized. A total of $1,420 in property and cash were reported stolen.
A business in the 4100 block of Calle Tesoro was burglarized March 1. A laptop and a desktop computer were stolen.
A 19-year-old man was arrested March 3 near Robins Point and Deer Creek Road and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.
An 18-year-old male was cited and released March 2 for illegally living in a tent on the dry river bottom between the Upland Road bridge and Hillridge.
A 19-year-old man was arrested March 2 near Howard and Pancho roads and charged with breaking into two locked cars to steal stereos.
Sometime between Feb. 27 and March 2, someone broke into two locked storage containers kept at Brutoco Engineering and Construction, 1900 Old Lewis Road. The thieves also broke the driver's side window of the company's vehicle.
Sometime between Feb. 28 and March 1, burglars attempted to break into a home in the 200 block of Bent Twig Avenue.
Between Feb. 24 and March 2, police reported arresting eight people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, seven people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance; 23 people were arrested on various drug charges, and two people were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
