Sometime between Jan. 22 and 29, someone stole the brass letters from the entrance sign at St. John's Seminary, 5012 Seminary Road.

Sometime between Jan. 26 and 27, four iPods and a pair of headphones were stolen from the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd.

It was reported Jan. 27 that sometime between Jan. 3 and 4, someone passed two fake checks at Estabolos Meat Market, 3222 Ventura Blvd.

A 44-year-old man was arrested Jan. 27 in the 1200 block of Kamala Street in Oxnard, on charges of hitand-run driving and driving without a valid license, in connection with a Jan. 22 collision near Las Posas Road and Anacapa Drive.

Sometime between Jan. 27 and 28, a thief stole a $300 personal navigation system from an unlocked car parked in the 400 block of Baja Court.

A car parked in the 4000 block of La Vista Drive was burglarized Jan. 28. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen.

A 15-year-old male was arrested Jan. 27 at Adolfo Camarillo High School, 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd., for allegedly writing graffiti on two schoolbooks.

Sometime between Jan. 28 and 29, vandals damaged the tires of a car parked in the 2000 block of Via Veneto.

A car parked in the 2500 block of Las Posas Road was burglarized Jan. 29. About $300 in property was stolen and another $300 in damage was caused to the car.

A car parked in the 5100 block of Camino Ruiz was burglarized Jan. 29. The car's stereo, valued at $500, was stolen. About $1,400 in damage was done to the car.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on felony burglary charges at the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Boulevard. According to police, the man was trying to run out of the store with stolen merchandise when he was stopped and caught. In connection with the burglary, a 53year-old woman was arrested Jan. 29 on charges of possession of methamphetamine and two glass smoking pipes.

A 44-year-old man was arrested Jan. 29 near Santa Rosa Road and Verdugo Way on charges of failing to appear in court in regards to an earlier arrest on misdemeanor charges. According to police reports, deputies were alerted to the man by the store clerk of a nearby gas station. When deputies spotted the man a short distance from the gas station, he was not wearing a shirt and was doing karate moves while walking toward the Roxy movie theater on Verdugo Way. The man, police reported, broke out of a "trancelike state" when he was stopped by deputies.

A 23-year-old man was arrested Jan. 29 in the 2500 block of Dumetz Street on charges of vandalism and participation in a street gang in relation to vandalism found July 14 in the 300 block of Arneill Road. Police also arrested a 19-year-old male at the same time and place on charges of parole violation.

Sometime between Jan. 29 and 30, vandals spray painted the wall at the Roxy Theater, 5001 Verdugo Way.

A car parked in the 900 block of Fairway Drive was burglarized Jan. 30.

A car parked in the 900 block of Sterling Hills Drive was burglarized Jan. 30. The victim reported $300 in damage and loss of property.

A 33-year-old man was arrested Jan. 30 in the 1600 block of Daily Drive on multiple warrants stemming from an earlier arrest on multiple charges, including spousal battery.

A 23-year-old man was arrested Jan. 30 in the 1700 block of Las Posas Road and charged with hitting his girlfriend and another person during a fight. The man was also charged with drunken driving when he tried to leave the scene in his car.

Sometime between Jan. 30 and 31, an apartment in the 400 block of Paseo Camarillo was burglarized. According to police, a burglar entered through an open window and stole approximately $40 in cash.

Sometime between Jan. 30 and 31, a vandal wrote racial slurs at the Camarillo Skateboard Park, 1030 Temple Avenue.

A wallet with about $250 in cash was stolen in the 900 block of Arneill Road on Jan. 31.

A 31-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 31 in the 100 block of S. Glenn Drive and charged with trying to start a fire on someone else's property.

A 41-year-old man was arrested Jan. 31 in the 200 block of Everest Street on multiple felony charges, including battery stemming from a fight in the 5700 block of Fieldcrest Drive.

It was reported Jan. 31 that sometime between Nov. 1 and Jan. 31 an undisclosed amount of property was stolen from an unoccupied mobile home in the 4300 block of Central Avenue.

Two males, ages 18 and 19, were cited and released Feb. 1 on charges of trespassing in the 1000 block of Temple Avenue. In a separate incident on the same day and location, a 22-year-old man was also cited and released for trespassing.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 29 in the 1900 block of Leven Avenue on charges of battery.

A 21-year-old man was arrested Feb. 2 near Alamo Street and Erringer Road in Simi Valley on felony burglary charges stemming from a burglary at an electronics store in the 800 block of Arneill Road. Police also arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the crime.

Between Jan. 27 and Feb. 3, police reported arresting five people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, seven people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 14 people were arrested on various drug charges, and one person was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
