Vandals used spray paint to deface a wall in the 2900 block of Antonio Avenue on Jan. 20.

A 19-year-old woman is wanted on suspicion of breaking into a home in the 2000 block of Vista Alcedo and assaulting an 18yearold female on Jan. 20. The wanted woman allegedly hit the victim with an iron during the fight.

A 33-year-old man was arrested Jan. 20 in the 2200 block of Pickwick Drive on charges of violating his parole.

A 19-year-old male was arrested Jan. 21 at the Ventura County Government Center, 800 S. Victoria Ave., and charged with vandalism stemming from graffiti committed March 11, 2008, in the 1500 block of Temple Avenue. The teen was also charged with vandalizing property in the 1500 block of Flynn Road on July 31, 2008, the 2500 block of Las Posas Road on Dec. 9, 2008, and the 4100 block of E. Las Posas Road on Dec. 15, 2008.

An 18-year-old male was arrested Jan. 20 in the 600 block of E. Ventura Boulevard and charged with petty theft.

A 39-year-old man was arrested Jan. 21 in the 400 block of Arneill Road on multiple drug charges, including drug sales.

Vandals carved scratches into a car parked in the 1200 block of Woodcreek Road on Jan. 21.

A 44-year-old man was arrested Jan. 21 at the Camarillo Police Station, 3701 E. Las Posas Road, and charged with breaking a restraining order against him on Jan. 5.

A 26-year-old man was arrested Jan. 22 in the 2200 block of Pickwick Drive and charged with possession of an illegal knife.

A vandal caused $2,000 in damage by scratching the paint of a car parked in the 500 block of N. Lantana Street on Jan. 22.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested Jan. 22 at Gateway Community School, 200 Horizon Circle, for allegedly burning a book to benefit his street gang.

Sometime between Jan. 22 and 23, a $400 bicycle was stolen in the 6400 block of Palomino Circle.

Sometime between Jan. 22 and 23, a case of compact discs were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 6100 block of Calle Arena.

It was reported Jan. 23 that a gift card and cash totaling $450 were stolen from a woman in the 900 block of Crestview Avenue sometime between Dec. 19, 2008, and Jan. 23.

While in custody on charges of parole violation, Tony Valdez, a 21year-old Oxnard man, was charged Jan. 23 at the Ventura County Main Jail, 800 S. Victoria Ave., with the armed robbery of a commuter at the Metrolink train station on Lewis Road.

Sometime between Jan. 23 and 24, vandals caused about $200 in damage to property in the 1300 block of Azalea Court.

Someone stole a wallet from a home in the 900 block of Camino Vera Cruz on Jan. 24.

A 26-year-old man was arrested Jan. 24 near Camarillo Springs and Adohr roads and charged with grand theft.

Jose Manuel, 25, was arrested Jan. 24 Calle La Roda and Ponderosa Drive on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, participating in a street gang and conspiracy in connection with Jan. 7 stabbing of a 17-year-old male in the 200 block of N. Glenn Drive.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Jan. 24 in the 1100 block of E. Ventura Boulevard for allegedly stealing a car, driving while intoxicated and carrying a switchblade knife.

A 21-year-old man was arrested Jan. 24 at Adolfo Camarillo High School, 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd., on charges of drunken driving and driving with a suspended license. Police reported they initially stopped the man for trespassing and failing to signal and that the man also had an out-of-county warrant stemming from an earlier arrest for a misdemeanor driving violation.

Sometime between Jan. 24 and 25, a vandal caused about $400 in damage to the outside of the Ventura County Community Foundation, 1317 Del Norte Road.

An undisclosed amount of property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 4000 block of Villamonte Court on Jan. 25.

Between Jan 20 and 26, police reported arresting two people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, nine people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and 14 people were arrested on various drug charges.
