Sometime between Dec. 26 and 29, vandals used spray paint to cause less than $400 in damage to a business in the 800 block of W. Ventura Boulevard.

A vandal caused more than $400 in damage to a fountain in front of an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Ponderosa Drive sometime between Dec. 27 and 28.

A business in the 900 block of Via Alondra was burglarized Dec. 29. The victims reported $200 in stolen property.

Someone smashed the driver's side window of a car parked in the 700 block of E. Camarillo Springs Drive on Dec. 29.

A laptop computer was stolen from a business in the 400 block of Calle San Pablo on Dec. 29.

Someone shot a 20-year-old man in the face with a BB gun near Ponderosa Drive and Calle La Roda on Dec. 29.

Diners left Denny's restaurant, 1659 E. Daily Drive, without paying for their dinner bill on Dec. 29.

Two men, ages 19 and 23, were arrested Dec. 30 near Rosewood Avenue and Daily Drive and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. While being booked, the 23-year-old man was also charged with possession of a fake $100 bill.

A 40-year-old man was arrested Dec. 30 in the 5000 block of Verdugo Way on a charge of battery.

Vandals caused more than $400 in damage to a car parked at the far southern end of Arneill Road on Dec. 30.

It was reported Dec. 30 that a wireless router was stolen from a business in the 300 block of N. Lantana Street sometime between Nov. 15 and 30.

A lawn mower was stolen from the unlocked side yard of a home in the 700 block of Calle Del Norte on Dec. 30.

A car parked in the 2400 block of Pickwick Drive was burglarized sometime between Dec. 30 and 31.

Vandals broke off the driver's side mirror of a car parked in the 2200 block of Pickwick Drive sometime between Dec. 30 and 31. The vandals caused $200 in damage.

Vandals caused about $50 in damage to a business in the 2400 block of Pickwick Drive sometime between Dec. 30 and 31.

A thief stole about $370 in property from an unlocked car parked in the 700 block of Mobil Avenue sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Someone broke into an unlocked home in the 4600 block of Paseo Maravilla on Jan. 1 sometime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nothing was reported stolen.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Jan. 1 in the 1400 block of Spyglass Way and charged with physically attacking a police officer.

A 22-year-old man was arrested Jan. 1 in the 1700 block of S. Lewis Road for allegedly damaging someone else's personal property by breaking their phone.

A 40-year-old man was arrested Jan. 3 in the Edward's Cinema parking lot on W. Ventura Boulevard for allegedly carrying a large kitchen knife in his back pocket. The man was also cited for breaking the terms of his parole.

A 32-year-old man was arrested Jan. 2 in the 1500 block of Flynn Road on charges of domestic violence.

It was reported Jan. 2 that someone stole more than $850 in tools from a workshop in the 100 block of San Miguel Drive sometime between Dec. 10 and 26.

Burglars broke into a storage container owned by Brutoco Engineering and Construction in the 1900 block of S. Lewis Road sometime between Jan. 2 and 5, and stole a reported $10,000 in construction equipment.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of drunk driving after she allegedly crashed her moving van into a sign in the 2200 block of Ponderosa Drive.

A $100 video game console and a $60 DVD player were stolen from an unlocked home in the 200 block of N. Camino La Madera on Jan. 3.

A vandal broke the window of a car parked in the 4000 block of Central Avenue sometime between Jan. 3 and 4.

A car parked in the 700 block of Mobil Avenue was burglarized sometime between Jan. 3 and 4.

A vandal shot a BB through the window of the 7Up Bottling Company of Southern California, 165 N. Aviador St., sometime between Jan. 3 and 5.

A vandal caused less than $400 in damage to an apartment complex in the 600 block of Lantana Street on Jan. 4.

A $160 skateboard was stolen Jan. 4 at Camarillo Heights Elementary School, 35 Catalina Drive.

A bicycle was stolen in the 2100 block of Ponderosa Drive on Jan. 4.

Someone tried to break into Laguna Farms, 1900 S. Lewis Road, sometime between Jan. 4 and 5.

A 38-year-old man was mugged at gunpoint Jan. 5 around 7:30 p.m. at the Camarillo Metrolink station in the 30 block of N. Lewis Road. The victim reported that the gunman fled the scene in a dark-colored car, possibly a Ford Mustang or Thunderbird.

A car parked in the 5000 block of Verdugo Way was burglarized Jan. 5. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen.

It was reported Jan. 5 that vandals drew swastikas and other hate-crime graffiti in front of the Gan Camarillo Preschool, 2222 E. Ventura Blvd., sometime between Jan. 2 and 5. On Dec. 31, vandals also used black permanent markers to draw swastikas on the sidewalk in front of the Jewish preschool.

Between Dec. 29, 2008, and Jan. 5, 2009, police reported arresting 15 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, five people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 13 people were arrested on various drug charges and two people were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
