Squirrel of the Month
SUNFLOWER STEALER—Camarillo resident Linda Nuttall submitted the above photograph of a squirrel in her backyard caught stealing one of her sunflowers. Nuttall said she originally had troubles with rabbits stealing her pretty flowers, inset, but said the squirrels have now taken a liking to the tasty flora. Nuttall said her son, Lucas, took the picture while home from college over the summer. We hope next summer the Nuttall family will have a chance to enjoy their sunflowers without a bunny or a squirrel making off with them. Do have a photograph of a squirrel acting squirrelly around your home? If so, please send them via e-mail or by U.S. post to the contact information on page 4.
