Methodist church hosts concert

The Thousand Oaks Philharmonic will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 9 at Camarillo United Methodist Church, 291 Anacapa Drive, Camarillo.

The concert is open to the public. There is a suggested donation of $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors and students.

There will be a pre-concert lecture at 6:45 p.m.

Student soloists will be Young-Jae Cho, Evan De Long, Hans Gao, Daniel Lessler, Vlad Vizireanu, Amanda Zho and Jeffrey Zia. The Village Voices Chorale will also perform.

The concert will feature the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Khachaturian, Mendelssohn, Mozart and Saint-Saens.
