Children's authors will sign copies of Christmas book

Authors Carol Aebersold and Chanda Bell will sign copies of their book "The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition" from 6 to 8 p.m. Wed., Dec. 3 at Las Posas Emporium, 528 N. Las Posas Road, Camarillo.

The book is about a tradition Aebersold began with her children when they were young. It explains how Santa Claus sends scout elves to help him find out who has been naughty and who has been nice.

Aebersold and Bell, her daughter, teamed with illustrator Coe Steinwart and published the book last year.
