Make plans for wine fest

The Casa Pacifica Angels Wine and Food Festival will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sun., June 1 on the campus of California State University Channel Islands.

The event will include samples from 150 wineries, 75 restaurants and 25 microbreweries. Entertainment will include flamenco guitarist Benise, flamenco dancers, '80s tribute band The Spazmatics, '70s tribute band Disco Inferno, jazz musicians Jeanne Tatum and Company, and magician Shawn McMaster. There will also be live and silent auctions.

Proceeds will support Casa Pacifica, a crisiscare and residential treatment facility for abused, neglected or at-risk children in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Tickets are $75 in advance and $90 at the door. For information, please visit their website at www.cpwineandfoodfestival.com.
