Surveillance team catches alleged tagger

A male Camarillo resident, age 14, was arrested on graffiti vandalism charges Fri., April 25.

Over the past month several acts of vandalism have occurred at the Camarillo City Library and Pleasant Valley Park. A total of eight separate incidents were identified throughout the course of the investigation.

On April 25 the Camarillo Police Department's Special Enforcement Detail (SED) conducted surveillance at Pleasant Valley Park. Deputies reportedly apprehended the suspect in the act of vandalizing park property.

The suspect was arrested and charged with three felony and five misdemeanor counts of vandalism. He was released with a citation to his parents with a pending court date.
