Sesame Street comes alive in T.O.

Sesame Street Live "Elmo Grows Up" will be presented Thurs., May 22 through Sun., May 25 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thurs., May 22; 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fri., May 23; 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sat., May 24; and 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sun., May 25.

The show features Elmo, Zoe, Rosita, Abby Cadabby and other favorite Sesame Street characters asking "What do you want to be when you grow up?" as they prepare for a pageant on Sesame Street.

The musical performance includes lessons on perseverance, patience, teamwork and the power of imagination.

Tickets are $15, $22 and $30.
