AWARD WINNERS- The Soroptimist International Club of Camarillo presented three Ventura County women with college scholarships during an awards ceremony earlier this week at Sterling Hills Country Club. Annette Berryhill of Ventura and a student at Cal State Channel Islands, left, received $2,500. Jasbir Ralph, a Simi Valley mother of four and a Moorpark College student, second from left, received $1,000, while Lauren Weiner, a 17-year-old Ventura High School student, second from right, was awarded $100. Scholarship chair Carol Lopez, right, says the money is to "help make life easier" for the three women.
