CSUCI extends innovators' deadline

California State University Channel Islands' Extended Education department has extended the deadline for its call for innovators to potentially partner with students in the Master of Biotechnology and Master of Business Administration dualdegree program. The new deadline is Wed., April 30.

The program will select a small number of innovators' proposals to be part of a course study that will teach students to develop business strategies and business plans based on the proposals. The work will be performed by students and professional advisers and will be overseen by CSUCI faculty.

Innovations presented by professionals- physicians, engineers, researchers and faculty- and graduate and undergraduate students from area colleges and universities are eligible. Innovations must be in the medical field or biotechnology. Preference will be given to innovators from Ventura County.

Eligibility and proposal guidelines are available at www.csuci .edu/exed/Incubator.htm.
