CSUCI administrators earn nods for Leadership California

Leadership California has selected Amanda Quintero and Renny Christopher, both of California State University Channel Islands, as members of its 2008 California Issues and Trends Program, a yearlong program for 60 female leaders from across California.

Quintero is the interim associate vice president of research and sponsored programs. Christopher is the associate vice president for faculty affairs at the university.

The California Issues and Trends Program exposes female leaders to critical public and private sector issues, enhancing their competitive knowledge on California from state, national and global perspectives. It connects female leaders from across the state with each other and to decisionmakers, thinkers and practitioners, and promotes creativity and innovation through the sharing of ideas and practices.

Leadership California began in 1992 and provides a pathway for successful women who care about advancement and achievement.
