Carole and Manny Hernandez

Prudential California Realty Broker/owner Bob Majorino extends congratulations to agents Carole and Manny Hernandez, who were given special recognition at the company's annual awards banquet in February.

At the national level within Prudential is an award known as Chairman's Circle. It is given to realtors who achieve exemplary production figures during the previous year. The Hernandez team has earned Chairman's Circle status for five years in a row, honored with Chairman's Circle Gold for 2007. As a result, they have been inaugurated into the group known as Legend.

The couple met in 1963, and created and opened the Mexican restaurant and nightclub Casa Tropical in Oxnard as a new business in 1964. They ran the business until 1971, when sold the business and got their real estate licenses.

Carole obtained credentials in interior decorating from the Institute of Interior Design in Atlanta, Georgia. She returned to California in 1963 and, along with running the restaurant, worked with Barker Bros. in Ventura in the late 1960s. With this background, she has been able to advise clients how to rearrange and "thin out their homes," many years before "staging" a home was recognized as an important thing to do.

Both have their broker's licenses and are Broker Associates at Prudential California Realty's Camarillo office. They are proud of the volume of repeat business and referrals that they receive.

Carole is a Fine Homes Specialist and a Certified Relocation Specialist. Manny is a Certified Real Estate Exchanger. They both work with commercial properties and 1031 tax deferred exchanges. They specialize in Camarillo, Somis, Gold Coast Beach Communities, Ventura, Oxnard, Moorpark and the Santa Rosa Valley.
